About NYIOP International
NYIOP International, LLC is a company dedicated to helping opera houses all over the world in their continual search for the perfect cast by providing innovative services.
Several times a season we organize international auditions in New York (NYIOP Auditions) as well as San Francisco (hosted by the San Francisco Opera), Europe (Berlin/Bologna International Opera Auditions) and, in 2006 we held our first project in China (APAG/NYIOP Beijing 2006). We invite the general / casting directors of international opera houses and over three to four days present them carefully pre-selected singers.
Our auditions offer the unique opportunity for a comprehensive overview of the current pool of opera talent in the US, Europe and Asia, respectively. In selecting the singers we work closely with the world’s leading agencies. Moreover, we regularly hold preliminary auditions in various countries in order to find highly talented and promising singers to introduce to our guests wherever we are in the world.
