This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which NYIOP collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://nyiop.com/ website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by NYIOP.

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
07 Video Use and Policy
Upon submitting a registration for any NYIOP project worldwide, you are acknowledging that if you benefit from your NYIOP audition in any way (i.e., by receiving a contract offer, whether accepted or not, by signing a contract, by receiving management or any other form of professional advancement), NYIOP has the right to publicize this success via our website and social media platforms. We will of course attempt to contact you first to involve you in this process.
All NYIOP Auditions will be recorded in HD video as well as Livestreamed publicly. All artists may ask to receive an unlisted link to a copy of their own video in HD quality and are free to use it for any professional purpose, however the video remains the sole property of NYIOP and any abuse of this link will result in the video being taken down immediately. By taking part in any NYIOP project, all artists consent to this listing online and the processing of the videos for this service by NYIOP as seen fit by NYIOP. This additional online resource is created to provide ongoing professional opportunities for all artists. These videos will not be available publicly. If, after your audition, you wish to have your video removed from this listing you must contact us at info@nyiop.com and we will handle these requests one by one. None of the materials sent to NYIOP for any project nor any of the videos or information received will ever be used for any purpose other than NYIOP project purposes and will never be sold to any third-party. Your data is used solely to try to help get you a job. Period.

08 Refund Policy for ALL NYIOP Auditions and Projects
There are NO REFUNDS for NYIOP Project or add-on services for any reason. If you must cancel your audition you have the right to move your paid registration to another NYIOP Virtual audition during the current audition season, on a space available basis. At the end of the current season, your credit expires. If you fail to appear for any reason on the day of your NYIOP service, you will be considered a no-show and there will be no refund nor credit offered.
